CSIC Electrical Machinery Science & Technology Co., Ltd. is a state-owned joint-equity enterprise organized by Shanxi Fenxi Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., an affiliate of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), by taking advantage of resources provided by Wuxi Electrical Instrument Assets Management Co., Ltd., CSIC Science & Technology Investment & Development Co., Ltd., and No. 711, 712 and 704 Research Centers of CSIC. CSIC Electrical Machinery Science & Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in January 2006. It was formed by former Wuxi Fenxi Electrical Machinery Co., Ltd., Shanxi Fenxi Heavy Industry Power Generation Equipment Co., Ltd. and Jieli Air Separation Equipment Corporation through optimization and integration. The company keeps to a policy of “high quality and global sharing” by providing top class electrical products, solutions and global services. It serves as a manufacturer of famous medium and small generator sets, an integrator of quality diesel generator sets, and a manufacturer of leading domestic air separation equipment.
The company set a target of becoming an industrial leader and repaying the society with economic strength from the very beginning. Three major businesses are being accelerated. Meanwhile, the company is developing new products independently to meet the urgent resource demand and special industrial requirements such as AC power transmission systems, MW variable-speed constant-frequency wind generator, cryogenic equipment, and coal-bed gas absorption materials.
