Morley Lin, the President, founded Batom Company Ltd. in Taipei, Taiwan in 1980.The company began as a distributor for Gear Cutting Machines and Gear Cutting Tools. The key principals were American Pfauter, Carl Hurth, Pfauter MAAG Cutting Tools, & Dathan Cutting Tools.

In 1990 Mr. Lin set up a gear manufacturing facility in Taichung, Taiwan and began supplying gear products to domestic and overseas customers.

In 1994 Batom Company Ltd. established the Great Taiwan Gear Ltd. in Greenville, SC. Since then Great Taiwan Gear has been focusing on the sale of Gears in the North American market.

Batom Company Ltd. is comprised of gear cutting experience, modern equipments, and state of the art quality. Our people are our most important assets.
