Engcotec Engco Advanced Technology Stuttgart was founded in 1987 with the specific aim of specializing in the design, manufacture and execution of photovoltaic projects in Germany and the rest of Europe mainly, but also with a strong commitment to North Africa and the Middle East. In the meantime, projects have been completed about the world. The company has its central offices and its own workshop in Stuttgart and has always benefitted from the close proximity to leading research organizations such as the Fraunhofer Institute.Principal Business
Engcotec was a pioneer in designing and developing very successful solar energy products. The Solight solar street lamps Engcotec developed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute light streets in many countries all over the world. Engcotec has also completed major PV installations such as the roof installations on the Reichstag, German Chancellery, and the New Lehrte Central Station, all in Berlin. Lastly, Engcotec has established itself as a major, trusted, and reliable distributor of solar modules and other basic PV components.

PV installations on facades and roofs in big and major projects. Design and development of solar equipment such as lighting and solar house units, especially for remote areas. Expert political lobbying for the support and development of solar industry. Mr. Samak has been on the board of various important associations, including the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, EPIA. He was a board member for many years and lastly held the position of President. In 2007 Mr. Samak was awarded the Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his work.
