PV activities
RENA has the largest installed base for wet applications for solar cells and wafers. Total wet solutions combining all wet chemical processes are available as RENA inline or ASTEC batch equipment. The process chain for wafer manufacturers includes PreWaClean precleaning, WaSep separation, InWaClean inline cleaning, WTSI wafer transfer systems and characterisation. For cell applications the company offers for example WTSC and WTSI wafer transfer systems, damage etch, InTex texturing, dopers, InOx oxide etching, InOxSide edge isolation, single side etching and plating. Drying for standard applications is performed by air knife or similar technology and for special applications with their patented HF/O3 technology.
