Concentrix Solar GmbH

Concentrix Solar GmbH was founded in 2005 as a spin-off company of Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems. The company is located in Freiburg in Breisgau. Concentrix Solar further developed the Concentrator PV technology generated from many years of research work at Fraunhofer ISE and brought it from the laboratory to market ready products and advanced it into series production. Under the name FLATCON®, they offer complete, turnkey concentrator photovoltaic power plants on the commercial level.

PV activities
Concentrix sells either directly turnkey CPV Power Plants or it sells all components for building such power plants. Concentrix or its local partner for turnkey construction plans and builds CPV plants at locations with high direct solar radiation. Concentrix or its market partners coordinate the project development and installation of the power plant through to the start-up of operation. If requested, Concentrix also carry out the complete controlling & monitoring of the system for the operator. Over and above this, Concentrix offers possibilities for investment in completed power plants.
