IBC was founded in 1982 by Udo Moehrstedt, President and CEO. Today IBC is one of the leading players in the entire solar PV market. A skilled staff and high experienced engineers meet the various demands of its numerous customers worldwide, most of them being wholesalers/distributors and key accounts. But also Hospitals, Universities, Ministries of Energy and Economic Affairs, service enterprises or industrial clients, Municipalities or Agricultural Communities rely on IBC PV systems for all applications.

Principal Business
IBC covers the whole domain of photovoltaic energy production supplying a complete program of proven components in latest technology, above all IBC's high efficiency PV module series MEGALINE. Their main business, however, is not the components' sales. IBC's worldwide high reputation results from 25 years of experience in system design, project engineering, developing, manufacturing, erection and supervision and all you need for your Turnkey-Projects. IBC is your all-around systems partner in the world of PV. In Germany, IBC has set up an wide network of dealers, in their core markets they have set up own daughter companies. But in many other countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America IBC has established reliable contacts to regional partners.

PV activities
By end of 2007, IBC will have delivered more than 300 MW PV energy successfully operating in ten thousands of grid connected, stand-alone or hybrid PV systems throughout the world. At IBC they know that future energy is renewable and that renewable energy is reliable.
