GP Solar GmbH

GP Solar was founded in 1999 by members of the University of Konstanz solar cell research group. Today the team comprise more then 40 employees and combines senior scientists with long-term experience in research and development of cell technology, engineers with industrial background as well as technical and scientific consultants.

Principal Business
GP Solar has a long-term experience in solar cell processing, production technologies and characterisation of industrial solar cells. They can offer this knowledge for your selection of process techniques and suppliers. Another aspect is an all-embracing project management for the installation and implementation of production equipment. For an intensive understanding of solar cell production quality they are able to carry out extensive electrical, optical and mechanical characterisation measurement. Due to their various customer references the company is able to bring customer wishes and the demand of groundbreaking solar technology trends in line, so that GP Solar also can provide new products in consultation and common development with their partners.

Sales, installation and service for full in- and offline quality control packages (hardware, training, procedures) for solar cell factories. Innovative concepts for mc- and mono-Si texturisation and edge isolation as well as p-glass etching. Research, development and world wide distribution of an innovative paste together with their partners.
