REC Wafer is a business unit in the REC group of companies. The wafer division consists of the companies REC ScanWafer and REC Sitech.

Principal Business
REC Scanwafer is producing multicrystaline silicon wafers ands REC SiTech is a producer of solar grade monocrystaline silicon ingots and wafers.

PV activities
The REC group is active in all segments of the PV value chain. REC Silicon produce polysilicon feedstock from two facilities in the USA. SGS in Moses Lakes, Washington and ASIMI in Bute, Montana. REC ScanWafer has facilities for multi and monosilicon ingot and wafer production in Glomfjord and facilities for multicrystaline wafer production in Norway. REC Solar makes multicrystaline cells in Narvik, Norway and modules at Arvika in Sweden. The company is also active in small scale system installation through its Subsidiary Solar Vision in South Africa
