Solar Ventures

SOLAR VENTURES is an Italian PV energy producer, founded in Milan in 2005. They directly own and manage large PV plants. They have already built and connected to the grid 5 plants for a total of 3 MWp, an additional 50 MWp will be developped in the course of 2008. Solar Ventures is currently operating in Italy and is expanding its activity in the whole Mediterranean area.

Principal Business
Solar Ventures, directly develops, realises and manages Photovoltaic power plants, placing itself as an integrator between the various actors involved (owners of surfaces, suppliers, banks). Solar Ventures' mission is to locate resources and investments for the Italian photovoltaic energy sector and to become a key reference player in this market , with a relevant market share. Solar Ventures has developed an innovative business model in the PV sector, based on the ability of gather in a unique subject all the different financial, technical and industrial competences.

PV activities
Solar Ventures is able to co-ordinate every aspect of a solar project and can offer a turn-key photovoltaic power plant. From the idea, they develop and manage all stages necessary to implement the project such as: - Area analysis - Economic opportunity analysis - Preliminary project - Presentation to GRTN of bids to get feed in tariff - Financial structuring - Construction and management of plants - Management of project portfolio.
