Solland Solar is a German-Dutch company, located at "Avantis", an EU-regional industrial area between Heerlen (NL) and Aachen (GE). Started in 2005 with 20 MW/yr capacity.Expanded to 60 MWp/yr in 2007 and will reach 170 MWp/yr capacity in 2008. Solland Solar's goal is 500 MWp/yr in 2010. Solland manufactures standard solar cells and plans production of unique Back-contact Solar Cells (BSC). To improve continuously their products, they are committed to working closely with the customers and suppliers. The company believes in partnerships and alliances.

Principal Business
Solland Solar is a manufacturer of solar cells. Solland will contribute to the reduction of costs of solar energy by development of solar cell processing- and manufacturing technology. Research focusses on cell cost reduction, cell efficiency improvement and improvement of cell processing and production methods.Solland co-operates with wafer manufacturers and solar module manufacturers, as well as with other cell manufacturers for joint product development in order to work ont reducing the costs of solar energy.

PV activities
Solland manufactures state of the art solar cells, multi-crystalline 156 x 156 mm. Standard cells with traditional H-pattern as front grid and in the near future back-contact solar cells with an attractive looking front grid. Solar cell production is our core activity.
