Having 40 years of experience in power electronics technology and an annual production of more than 600,000 frequency converters, Danfoss has the sourcing scale needed as solar inverters and frequency converters are technologically closely related.
All Danfoss inverters are based on tried, tested and trusted power electronics and are humidity, temperature and safety tested at approved Danfoss test facilities. The heart of their inverters is the power module, made by Danfoss Silicon Power in Germany. This integrates all power semiconductors into one component just 8 cm long. Applied easily on a heat sink, the power module provides a well-defined thermal environment for the power transistors while ensuring a long product life.

Combining efficiency optimisation with intelligent functionalities, their inverters are made to maximise energy output. All Danfoss inverters are international meaning that every inverter can be easily installed in either of 16 countries. Danfoss grid connected inverters include the single phase UniLynx range of 1.8, 3.6 and 5.4 kW of 1, 2 and 3 DC modules, in high voltage and medium voltage versions with two enclosure ratings. The UniLynx range is equipped with a dedicated independent input for each DC module and a separate MPP tracker for each string. The TripleLynx range of three phase 10, 12.5, 15 kW inverters has two or three separate inputs, very wide-ranging specifications, an efficiency of 98%, weight of only 30 kg and a broad range of communication options. All inverters are safe and easy to install and the integrated mechanical DC-switch guarantees a safe disconnection of DC current. Note that the DC switch has no limit to the times it can be used. In addition to the inverters they offer a complete range of monitoring solutions including data and WEB loggers.
