R&D company & platform for bioenergy
Energidalen i Sollefteå AB is a leading competence centre in renewable energy, (employing six leading researchers in this field). Tord Fjällström is the Managing Director of Energidalen. Their activity is focused mainly on the development of innovative products and services in the bioenergy sector. All of the work is done in the form of projects which creates a flexible and creative working environment. Energidalen operates in the local, national and international markets.

Bioenergy Development
Energidalen is developing new technologies within renewable energy and is working for increased utilisation and knowledge of bioenergy. The aim is to develop new products to be established in new or existing enterprises in the region.
The activities are focused on small and medium scale solutions, technical development and support within:
- Combustion and utilisation of biofuels (0-5 MW)
- Production of solid and liquid biofuels
- Logistic and integrated energy solutions
- Tests/development of prototypes and products
- Education (theoretical and practical)
- Energy advisory
- Raising competence and network
