Indaver Group

The Indaver group is an integrated service provider of high-quality waste management services. Indaver covers the entire waste management value chain, ranging from consulting and on-site managment, over collection, pretreatment, re-use, recycling and recovery to final disposal.
The group employs over 700 people and operates several transfer stations, as well as recycling- and composting facilities, physico-chemical treatment plants, incinerators and landfill sites.
In 2006 Indaver managed 1,878,000 tonnes of waste. Firmly rooted in Flanders, Indaver is pursuing phased development of its business activities throughout Europe. Currently they operate in Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The group's main objective is to become a leading and independent European industrial waste management company.
The Indaver Group is involved in industrial waste services and manages municipal solid and assimilated waste as well, whereby both municipal solid waste and assimilated waste are considered as supplementary to the industrial waste services business.
60.1% of the group's shares are held by Delta. Vlaamse Milieuholding (16%) and the group of industrial shareholders control a combined total of 25% of the shares. Suez Environment, which acquired Electrabel's shares in early February 2007, has a 14.9% stake.
This shareholding structure ensures that Indaver is firmly rooted in Flanders, while at the same time offering strong prospects for the company's continuity and further growth.
