Polish Chamber of Waste Management (PIGO)
Polish Chamber of Waste Management (PIGO) was established on 14th April 2003 as an organization of economic autonomy by 145 companies working in the field of and interested in waste management.PIGO's main targets set in The Statute are representing and protection of member's interests, creating market and industry in waste management.
PIGO promotes and develops sustainable waste management and modern communal technology by means of economic and legal instruments to diminish and prevent waste, to develop recykling and recovery strategies and health care methods of disposal. The Chamber supports member's economic initiatives and provides law creation opportunities along with high standards of security and communal hygiene.
PIGO is open to every company working at waste trade, affiliating in accordance with The Statute, irrespective of size or model of ownership. They invite to cooperation and membership also communal management companies, utilization companies, companies of thermal treatment, waste dumps, manufacturers and branch companies offering products, technologies, consulting and project services.
