The company Newtec Umwelttechnik GmbH in Berlin is specialised in water and sludge treatment. Newtec’s patented process of the water electrolyse allows for the first time a sustainable disinfection of water without addition of chemicals. Newtec is active in key markets for sludge treatment: dewatering, handling, drying and incineration of sludge from wastewater treatment plants.

Newtec is market leader in electrical water disinfection in Europe and China. Every day Millions tons of portable water will be disinfected by Newtec’s equipments and systems.

Newtec together with his local partners is one of the main players in world’s biggest market (China) of sludge treatment.

Newtec’s Research and Development Centre

Newtec has continuously developed new processes and equipments in the last 15 years. newtec has taken part in the research projects financed by the EU and German Ministry for Research. Today Newtec is able to deliver all technologies of electrolytic water disinfection and all sizes from the smallest equipment for whirlpools to the largest systems for big water plants.
