Hamburg Messe has achieved an international reputation through its extremely successful trade fairs and exhibitions. More and more organisers are recognising the particularly attractive location of the site, and select it for holding outstanding guest events. The core competence of the Hamburg Messe is also recognised abroad. Since 1987, a competent team has been in charge of many events on all continents of the world. The emphasis for this activity is currently in organising the participation in trade fairs and in sales promotion campaigns. The foreign programme is dedicated to a few, highly specialised topics: ship & boat building, food & hotels as well as oil & gas.

Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH focuses its activities abroad on the core topics maritime economy and technology, oil and gas, aviation, food and hotel sectors. Each year, we organize a total of approx. 20 trade fair participations abroad, primarily commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi).
