Danish Wind Energy Group
The Danish Wind Energy Group is a network for these consultants, manufacturers and subcontractors with the purpose of optimising exports through exchange of information, joint initiatives and close collaboration with other members.As fossil fuel resources dwindle and concern for the environment increases, investment in the wind turbine market has grown. Consequently, demand for expertise within this sector - and particularly in conjunction with the building of large wind farms – has risen fast. For decades, a lot of effort has been concentrated in Denmark on research and development for the wind energy sector, making Danish companies world leaders thanks to their experience and know-how within key areas such as innovation and quality.
The group currently consists of more than 60 members and operates to ensure that our members are always the preferred choice of global wind turbine producers and wind turbine projects around the world.
This is mainly achieved by organising and executing export activities, such as exhibitions and meetings with potential clients and partners, and by arranging meetings at which members can exchange know-how.
The DWEG is a sector network of the Danish Export Association which has enabled us to take part in numerous export drives all over the world during the last 40 years, making us an excellent platform for locating new business partners and suppliers.
