Renewable Energy Association

The Renewable Energy Association represents the UK's renewable energy industry, covering all renewable power heat and fuels. It was established in 2001 to represent British renewable energy producers and promote the use of sustainable energy in the UK. REA was called the Renewable Power Association until October 2005.

Renewable Energy Association membership is active across the whole spectrum of renewables: electric power, heat and biofuels representing a wide variety of organizations, including generators, project developers, fuel and power suppliers, equipment producers and service providers. Membership topped 500 in early 2007, making REA by far the largest renewable energy industry association in the UK.
