Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables
The SER was created in 1993 (at that time, it was called SIPROFER) in order to promote the interests of French industry managers and professionals working in the renewable energies sector. It also defends French interests in the main European programs built to sustain this sector.SER is open to renewable energies industrials and to professionals (such as study offices) which activity is bound to renewable energies. Bringing the whole renewable energies streams together is giving to SER a dimension that allows it to be recognized as a key partner of public authorities.
Nowadays it numbers around 300 firms or firms associations having activities related to streams such as wind energy, geothermic energy, photovoltaic solar energy, thermic solar energy, hydraulic energy, wood energy, bio-fuels and other biomass streams.
More than thousand firms are represented throughout associations that are SER members.
SER promotes renewable energies through the developpement of business activities covered by its members.
SER represents them in front of public, national, European or local authorities and in front of control authorities. SER underlines the results of these activities in public opinion and in medias.
