Converteam provides complete electrical systems for renewable energy and conventional power generation systems. Converteam is a major supplier to the Wind industry with in excess of 5.0GWs of low and medium voltage power conversion systems delivered annually, and has reinforced its position by taking a leading position in the wind-generation market in China.

Since the early 2000’s, Converteam has also been deeply involved in both tidal and wave power generation, where its unique Compact Induction Generators (CIG) are ideally suited to the subsea environment, and its patented permanent magnet linear generator technology makes direct power generation from waves economically viable.
