Dongfang Steam Turbine Works (DFSTW) is developed from Dongfang Steam Turbine Plant, which constructed in 1966 and put into operation in 1974. The plant became Dongfang Steam Turbine Works (DFSTW) and Dongfang Steam Turbine Investment Development Co., Ltd. in Dec. 28 2006, both companies belong to China Eastern Electricity Group.With construction development over the past 40 years, the total assets of the Dongfang company amounted to 12.7billion yuan, the core manufacturing capacity amounted to 28million KW, and the annual industrial output reached 10billion yuan. The main products focus on power turbine. With the industrial development strategy and active innovation, the company significantly develops thermal power, nuclear power, wind power, stream power, and solar energy. In addition, the products of the company have reached modern international advanced level, involved in several industrial fields, such as military products, chemical, automatic control, environmental protection, surface project, and transportation. The power equipments from Dongfang company totaled about 900, the installation capacity amounted to over 100million KW. The company holds over 30% of steam turbine market in China.
