Dongguan Quoncion Solar Energy Lighting Co., Ltd. specializes in the design, production and sales of photovoltaic modules and solar lights. The headquarter was founded in Taiwan in 1985, and the main manufacture base was established in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province in China in 1999, which was awarded ISO9001-2000 certification in 2003. We have been producing high efficiency photovoltaic monocrystalline and multicrystalline modules from 1W to 240W and solar lights including solar street lights and yard lights, which are widely sold to Middle East, America and Europe.
What brings you to the CNEE 2010?
Firstly, we hope enhance our promotion and show our new technology and new brand products through this event. Secondly, we are focused on selling products, and at the same time, meeting more friends and clients in this industry.
Can you tell us about your star products?
Company's star products include the solar module, solar streetlight, power generation systems etc. To produce outstanding components, make sure that we have the following conditions:
1. High-conversion efficiency, high-quality batteries.
2. High-quality raw materials, such as: high cross-linked EVA, high bond strength of package agent, high light transmission rate of tempered glass, anti-aging power cord, etc.
3. Reasonable laminated packaging technology.
Meanwhile we also specializes solar cells, which primarily to semiconductor material as a basis for its work with photoelectric materials absorbed light after photoelectric to conversion reactions, depending on the material, the solar cell can be divided into three categories: silicon solar cells; III-V inorganic salts, such as gallium arsenide, cadmium sulfide compounds, copper indium selenium compounds; and finally, nanocrystal solar cells, etc.
Solar PV is playing an increasingly important role in renewable energy. What’s your opinion on this?
With today’s growing environmental concerns, ongoing PV technology improvements and cost reductions, solar PV appears to be entering an era in which it will play an increasingly important role in meeting the world’s energy needs. In 2008, annual global solar PV module sales exceeded 5.4 GW and are expected to install a similar total in 2009 which translates into a billions-of-dollars-per-year business for both module production and system installation.
PV technology is still evolving and has not reached mature commercial status and, without subsidies, it is currently best suited economically for small, off-grid installations and other applications where solar PV can often provide a service at the lowest cost, the paper states.

Dongguan Quoncion has professional design team of PV modules. The technical manager has been engaged in solar industry for more than 20 years. All the products can be customers-made as we have rich experienced design and technical support team. There are several supervisors who have more than 10 years experience in this industry taking care of the production line in the factory, and a perfect quality control system has been enforced in the whole procedure. Dongguan Quoncion catches the same steps: the lamination machines have been increased from 1 in 2004 to 10 now; the daily out put has been raised from 18KW to 180KW.
Do you have any export businesses or cooperation with foreign companies?
We are focusing on domestic market. But if the conditions permit, we will explore into international market, dealing with export trade.
