Guodian Subsidiary Pledges RMB 12B Wind Investment

China Guodian Corporation's Shandong subsidiary has agreed to invest RMB 12 billion in power generation projects in the Shandong Weifang Binhai Economic Development Area, including RMB 9 billion in a 1GW on-grid wind power plant, reports in-en.com. The investment includes RMB 9 billion for a 1GW on-grid wind power plant, of which RMB 1 billion will go to a 50MW initial phase and RMB 3.5 billion will go to a 350MW second phase, said the report. The completed wind plant will be Shandong's largest and generate over RMB 3 billion in sales revenue annually, said the report.
