Paris, June 4, 2009 -- Focus Communication, the specialist B2B agency for government and strategic industries, has conducted an exclusive interview about Sino-French relations with Christine Lagarde, as the Minister of the Economy, Industry and Employment of France prepares to visit Tianjin on June 23 for the inaugural flight of the first Airbus A320 fully “made in China”.

Lagarde’s insight gives insight into how France, like many countries around the world, is seeking economic recovery from the most severe depression of the last 50 years, by securing a place in the Chinese market for strategic industries.

Lagarde will be landing with the will to reaffirm France’s long-time friendship with China, push the economic agenda forward, and clear the air after recent tension resulting from France’s stance on Tibet and the Beijing Olympics. “I am personally delighted to return to China. It is the continuation of a long standing and very friendly relationship between the two countries. As Minister of Economy for my country, I will indeed support the areas of business where we can participate in the development of the Chinese economy,” she told Focus Communication.
