Biofuel performed well in test flight, COP 15

Continental Airlines estimates that greenhouse gas emissions were cut 60 percent by using a blend of biologically derived fuel and jet fuel.
A blend of biologically derived fuel and jet fuel was said to perform slightly better than jet fuel alone during a test flight by Continental Airlines, the world’s fifth-largest airline.
