The City of Copenhagen has launched a new website in association with the forthcoming UN Climate Change Conference COP15, which kicks off in Copenhagen in December. www.worldclimatecommunity.com is a meeting place on climate and environment for people all over the world, reports financial daily newspaper Børsen.

"The World Climate Community.com is a user-driven space where you can explore, share and act on any aspect that is climate-related. You can profile your cause, or find like-minded people from all over the world. You can start taking action and begin to inspire others," the website states.

The site contains a climate calendar and a Speakers Corner, which comprises a video clip with an organisation, company or private person, who has been invited to share their viewpoint. The current clip is with Shai Agassi, the founder and CEO of Better Place, an electric car concept that is being prepared for launch in Denmark in collaboration with DONG Energy.
