Upcoming tax incentives aim for a larger share of CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) projects.

So far carbon credits under the UN-backed CDM-scheme, allowing industrialized nations to be credited for their investments in developing countries, have been subject to taxation in Thailand. This will now change in order to attract more CDM-projects, primarily with financing from EU countries.
