kk-electronic is primarily focused on the lifetime performance of its control systems and the wind turbines. Therefore, proven technology is its means of reliability. kk-electronic has consequently developed the Commander Control System - an innovative modular development concept enabling 30 years of operation. It guarantees advanced solutions with a thoroughly tested technology.

The Commander Control System consists of a combination of pre-engineered control elements with modular add-ons, and it can be designed and configured “in no time”. It provides the ideal basis for a successful wind turbine project.

The Commander Control System ensures that the process of designing a complete control system for a wind turbine project is simple and efficient. The essential Commander Control System is configured after a few selections, reflecting the design requirements of the wind turbine manufacturer.

Hereafter, additional features and functionalities can be incorporated as Add-On modules. The add-ons can be site-specific or customer-specific modules, and are intended to be incorporated as specifications are getting stricter (e.g. for cold climate areas) and more sophisticated (e.g. turbine monitoring requirements).
