MLS Presented Spin-out Recognition Award , MLS Control

MLS was presented with a "Spin-Out Recognition Award" from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland. The Award was presented to MLS Chief Technical Advisor, Professor Bill Leithead and Sergio Dominguez at the University's Enterprise Awards Dinner by Stuart Mackenzie, Spin-out Company Development Manager, at the University of Strathclyde on November 17, 2009

At the event, Mr. Mackenzie commented that "without spin-off company creation, the potential economic and social benefits of many university research discoveries would never reach the public. Strathclyde was the first Scottish University to commercialise research via the spin-out route, and remains the most active Scottish university in this field". Following the Awards Ceremony, Professor Leithead, stated that "MLS is proud of its roots as an academic entrepreneurship and honored to be part of Strathclyde's history of success. He further commented that MLS' intends to continue building on a strong base of university research discoveries and to maintain directed R&D partnership projects with Strathclyde.
