German heavy machinery giants celebrate 10 years with Danfoss , Danfoss

Cooperation of Danfoss with the two leading German sugar beet harvester manufacturers, ROPA Fahrzeug- und Maschinenbau GmbH and Holmer Maschinenbau GmbH, reaches ten years

Following a month of extensive testing that started November 1999, ROPA Fahrzeug- und Maschinenbau GmbH and Holmer Maschinenbau GmbH placed orders for Danfoss' MBS 3250 pressure sensor. The MBS 8250, a smaller and more compact pressure sensor with digital temperature calibration for accurate measurement of the hydraulic fluid pressure, came to market in 2007 and both companies were quick to adopt the new technology. During these 10 years ROPA purchased more than 12,000 pcs of Danfoss pressure sensors, and Holmer even topped 16,000 pcs.

What was crucial to the success of these two partnerships was close work of Danfoss with ROPA and Holmer, helping them select the sensors best suited to their equipment’s respective pressure ranges and electrical connectors, and suggesting ideal mounting positions. Over the years, ROPA and Holmer were kept up-to-date with the latest developments from the Danfoss sensor department, making sure both companies offer their customers the most efficient and reliable machinery possible.
