Meeting China’s climate challenges, Grundfos

Release Date: 2008-09-26

An innovative initiative started by Grundfos China is based on action and is focused on initiatives to be launched here and now.

Led by Grundfos, a number of Danish companies will hold a climate conference in Beijing on 23 October 2008. The conference, among other things, aims to demonstrate to what extent China can reduce its CO2 emission over the next few decades by means of Danish technology.

Humphrey Lau, newly appointed Head of Grundfos China, is behind the initiative.

”The way in which to reach the goal will be published in a report at the conference. The report will also be handed over to the Chinese government. With this report companies can advise and guide the Chinese government in questions regarding energy and climate. The primary object is to identify what can be achieved here and now with existing technologies. We don’t want theoretical discussions, but action,” Mr Lau stated.
