The Czech Republic is holding the EU Presidency. Issues about the energy, climate and economic crisis are at the top of the international agenda and in the minds of all European citizens and policy makers. Wind energy is already a major power-generating technology in Europe and offers a solution that can no longer be ignored in terms of energy security, clean power production, and sound economic investments.
In this context, EWEA undertook the launch of a series of workshops that will highlight issues related to the further development of wind power in the most promising emerging markets. The workshop in Prague is the first of this series.
